Shirley Huller White has enjoyed a successful career as a graphic artist, illustrator, and art educator. Her portfolio includes work ranging from representations of psychosocial concepts to artwork inspired by her love for nature and her experiences in art education. These personal and professional interests continue to inform her creative process.
Shirley's passionate and enthusiastic approach to art education is based in holistic teaching practices that inspire her students to explore their own lives, examine their relationship to the world, and imagine a future for themselves—one in which they have a voice.
As a graphic artist and illustrator, Shirley has worked in a wide range of digital and fine art media. Her work has appeared in a variety of corporate and nonprofit publications for clients that include Liberty Mutual Group,* Volunteer Lawyers Project,* Hanify & King Counsellors at Law,* Llewellyn Worldwide Publishing, Restaurant Business Magazine, and DiversityInc Magazine.
Shirley received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Art Institute of Boston (now the College of Art & Design at Lesley University) and her Master of Education degree from the Graduate School of Education at Lesley University.
